Turn-Key Packaged Treatment Systems
Air Energy, Inc. offers "Turn-Key" remediation equipment that is custom designed to meet your specific site application. We will package any one or more of our remediation systems and provide you with a complete, fully assembled and tested remediation system either in an enclosed trailer, steel cargo container, or wooden shed. We will also package any number of treatment technologies to your custom specification.
Dual-Phase Systems
The Dual Phase extraction process involves the subsurface removal of air, water, and product. There are many other pieces of equipment needed for a fully operational system that addresses all phases of contamination. The graph below shows the vacuum ranges of each blower type.
Dual Phase Extraction systems are available in different system configurations. The determining factor behind the selection is the expected operating vacuum level. Liquid ring pumps (oil-sealed design) are most suitable for vacuum levels in excess of 15+ inches mercury (Hg). Conversely, positive displacement blowers are more suitable for vacuum levels up to 15” mercury (Hg). Each Dual Phase Extraction system is manufactured to meet your specific requirements.
- Liquid Ring – Oil-Sealed or Water Sealed
- Dry Claw
- Positive Displacement (Rotary lobe blowers)
- Regenerative
Air Sparging Systems
Air Energy, Inc. manufactures many different Air Sparging systems. As with our Soil Vapor Extraction systems, each Air Sparging system is manufactured to meet your specific requirements. There are a number of different system types that can be used; the choice ultimately depending on air flow rate, pressure, and possibly other design considerations. The most commonly used Air Sparging systems utilize oil-free rotary vane compressors, positive displacement blowers and air compressors. In addition, there are three different types of air compressors that can be used; rotary claw, rotary screw, or rotary vane.
Positive displacement blowers are typically chosen for moderate to high flow rates and low to moderate pressure requirements.
Rotary vane compressors are most commonly used for lower flow rates and low to moderate pressure applications. Rotary screw compressors are more commonly used for higher flow and higher pressure applications.
- Rotary vane compressors
- Regenerative blowers
- Positive displacement blowers
- Rotary Screw compressors
- Reciprocating compressors
Soil Vapor Extraction Systems
Air Energy, Inc. manufactures many different Soil Vapor Extraction systems designed to meet your specific needs
There are a number of blower types that can be used; the choice ultimately depending on air flow rate, vacuum, pressure, and possibly other design considerations. The most commonly used blowers for our soil vapor extraction systems are regenerative, positive displacement, and rotary claw. Regenerative blowers are typically chosen for low to moderate flow rates and low vacuum/pressure requirements. Conversely, positive displacement and rotary claw blowers are more commonly used for higher flow rates and higher vacuum/pressure applications.
